Triggerpoint Pilates

This class combines Pilates’ core moves with trigger point release and clinical Myofascial principles to help alleviate chronic pain conditions using equipment. The movements involved are designed to release tight muscles enhance functional daily movement and restructure the body.

Triggerpoint Pilates helps to release the body from inside to out targeting the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle and joint. Enabling one to move with ease, release painful conditions, and have a better functional life.

Walking Club

The goal of this class is to give you lots of helpful information and exercise tips so that you can find and use the right muscles when you walk, to guide and help you become more aware of your current walking habits, and help you tweak your technique for better form and function.

Walking Club focuses on proper posture and drawing awareness to make sure your core and glutes are engaged. It also helps improve your breathwork.

Strength

The exercises in this class focus on developing dynamic strength and helps increase in muscle strength and tone without creating bulk, which means you are better able to support and stabilize your joints while moving. The increase in deep core muscle strength helps to make your abdominal muscles look tight and toned. It also improves your flexibility and posture, which can decrease your chances of injuring yourself.

Express

Pilates trains the body as an integrated whole, focusing on core, lower body, and upper body strength as well as flexibility and posture. Pilate’s workouts promote strength, balanced muscle development, flexibility, and increased range of motion for the joints.

One of the biggest challenges to maintaining a regular exercise routine is time.  Although we may have time to go to class a couple of times a week or fit in a game of tennis, run or swim, the most effective way to maintain our health is to try to exercise on a regular basis, preferably a little bit of something every day.

This class is the answer: in 20 minutes or less a day, you can practice Pilates daily and enjoy all the benefits this amazing form of exercise provides.

Pilates

Pilates is the ideal way to build a strong, flexible, mobile, and toned body and is suitable for everyone at any age.  Perfect to improve posture, core strength and for preventing or recovering from injuries.  It is a great exercise choice, whether used alone or in conjunction with other fitness trainings. Regular Pilates can improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.

The exercises involved in this class are intermediate/advanced level.  If you have never done Pilates before, Pilates Basic” would be a good place to start.
